The cryptocurrency booking website Travala has recently partnered with booking.com. The new partnership will allow Travala users to reserve a range of new hotels and accommodation through Booking.com and pay through popular cryptocurrencies.
Travala made the announcement of its partnership with Booking.com through a press release that was issued on November 25. Users can now choose from 90,000 additional destinations when using Travala.
One of the key features of the Travala platform is that users can pay to stay at hotels using its AVA utility token. On top of AVA, users can also book using the top 20 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ether, Dash, Litecoin, and many others.
Travala’s CEO Matt Luczynski made a statement via the press release on the integration with Booking.com, noting that it’s also a big step for the adoption of cryptocurrencies in general.
“This partnership allows our users to access Booking.com’s accommodation listings, as well as the listings from several other leading travel suppliers, which is a fantastic use case for our own AVA token and another huge step towards mass cryptocurrency adoption.”
The newest integration claims to complement Travala’s best price guarantee along with its discounts and loyalty rewards that are unlocked when users choose to pay with AVA.
